Automotive technology is on the cusp of being reinvented and Intel is helping fuel the revolution. Intel is passionate about creating solutions to change driving experiences for the better and asked us to construct compelling concepts for how their cartographic information and data-driven sensors could provide value to the automotive industry. We conducted longitudinal research, created design concepts highlighting in-car and on-the-go scenarios and built interactive prototypes that explored personalized introspection related to driver behaviors, remote access and control of the vehicle, and seamless integration with media that allows interaction with a car on new levels.
The technology we worked on is currently being implemented to distribute insurance discounts to safe drivers, but has various other applications that can be implemented in tomorrow’s data-driven and autonomous vehicles.
