Quality user experiences come in many forms. Before Hyundai Motors introduced their luxury vehicle division and flagship Genesis model, they wanted to make sure that the car’s cabin sound conveyed a sense of quality and luxury.
They came to us to evaluate which tones resonated with car buyers and exuded the highest degree of luxury. Using a blind audio testing approach, we had people compare cabin sounds of a variety of luxury cars and propose sounds that could be included in Genesis. Insights from our research were applied to the Hyundai Genesis and are currently being implemented on the market.
